Indica Marijuana Strains
Indica cannabis plants, or Cannabis indica, are said to have an origin in South Asia. These plants tend to grow short and bushy, usually stopping at well under six feet tall. The leaves also tend to be wider with a darker green hue, with some turning reddish or purple.
Indica marijuana strains are widely used to alleviate chronic pain, for they give the partaker a body high. People who suffer from interruptive diseases find indica marijuana to help the tension, body aches, migraines, and more. Among the many other purposes are inducing sleep, relaxation, and reducing anxiety. Some indica marijuana helps one to achieve a high that mellows out those feelings of unease, allowing them to feel serene, yet still be able to maintain social awareness. For these reasons, Cannibis indica is commonly used at nighttime.
Indica cannabis is often bred with sativa marijuana to create hybrid strains.
